Brescia boasts over forty churches, including recent and ancient architecture, like the Duomo Vecchio, also known as the Winter Co-Cathedral. It was built in the IVth century in Paolo VI square, and re-built in the earlier half of the 1100s.

It has two cylindrical structures in Romanesque style, and features an organ pipe that dates back to the 1500s, plus the sarcophagus of Berardo Maggi. When visiting churches in Brescia, make time to go to the Summer Cathedral, a late Baroque temple, erected on Paleochristian foundations.

Doing tourism in Brescia allows you to admire the façade of SS. Faustino and Giovita, visit the saints' remains alongside those of S. Onofrio and S. Antigio and paintings by Tommaso Sandrino and Giandomenico Tiepolo.
