Tourism Lecco, suggestions for visiting Lombardy

Tourism Lecco, fun for the whole family. Tourism in Lombardy means you must stop by Lecco, whether you're traveling in summer or winter, there are plenty of activities to uncover year round.


To get a better idea of the local landscapes, grab the funicular railway at Versasio that will take you up 1,300 meters to the Piani d'Erna for some incredible views. From there you can see the Alpine foothills and choose a trail based on your preferred difficulty level. Nature lovers are sure to have a fantastic time visiting Lecco.


Tourism in Lecco should also include a visit to Lake Como for a relaxing cruise trip, lakeside walks, medieval villages with narrow streets, and phenomenal restaurants for even the most demanding palates.


It's no surprise that great historical figures found inspiration in these unique locations. Famous personalities like Alessandro Manzoni once lived here and set his infamous "The Betrothed" in Lecco. Others who traveled through the area or called it home: Leonardo da Vinci, Giuseppe Parini, and Cesare Cantù.
