Tourism Monza, where to go visiting in Lombardy

Tourism Monza. The heart of the Brianza is located between Milan, Lecco and Bergamo, with the Lambro and Seveso rivers traversing it. A distinct spot for tourism in Lombardy, it was a holiday destination for old Milanese aristocracy, as noted by the numerous villas that can be seen while visiting it.

The Province boasts a vast network of parks, the Park of Monza stands out among those. Founded by Napoleon in 1805, it is nowadays loved by the locals, who visit it to take a walk or ride on a bike. Its autodrome hosts the Grand Prix each year. Then there are the Groane, with awe-inspiring moorlands and woods that deserve visiting.

Monza is a fertile land, evoking stories of successful entrepeneurs that interwine industry and agriculture. Giuseppe Parini praised the beauty of its landscape in his verses, and a visiting Stendhal described it as the "most beautiful part of all Italy due to its placid streams and multiple lakes".

This area bears evidence of settlements and structures ranging from late antiquity to the early XXth century, making it an interesting place for tourism in Lombardy thanks to its several historic, artistic and archaeological itineraries.

Consider tourism in Monza to discover a wide range of activities and attractions that await you.
