Boroughs in Lombardy, a discovering journey Turismo Bergamo

Boroughs in Lombardy. Whenever you organize vacations focusing on cultural tourism, consider visiting boroughs. Lombardy harbors unique wonders waiting to be discovered.

If you try visiting an intimate, more authentic side of Lombardy, head towards its walled boroughs, small medieval towns and Renaissance cities.

We would like to propose Abbiategrasso if you are staying in Milan, from there it is possible to go to the abbey of Morimondo or Vigevano, located in the Valle del Ticino Natural Park. Bellagio stands on the shores of Lake Como and is characterized by its narrow alleys and pastel-colored houses.

Brunate is often called the terrace of the Alps due to its panoramical sighting points and a cable car connecting it with the city.

Brinzio is one in a series of boroughs in Lombardy keeping traditional buildings in perfect conditions.

The aristocratic borough of Castiglione delle Stiviere is favored for cultural tourism, Clusone's ancient roots can be seen to this day while at Pizzighetone the atmosphere of old chivalric ages can still be felt. Sirmione has offered since Roman times attractions such as the Scaliger Castle, thermal baths, a Domus and lacustrine waters.

Enjoy cultural tourism in this territory, history and nature will be at your grasp.
