The lake Garda lake bed preserves ancient treasures worth exploring such as sunken battleships and old vessels that date back to the period of Venetian domination.  When diving, in the depths of its water, one can discover natural and artistic masterpieces, such as the wide variety of perch, pike and burbot, or the Tempest creeks, the sheer cliffs of Calcarolle, and even the  Statue of the Silent Christ 15 m. below the water's surface.

Lake Maggiore is a true natural paradise where one can perform countless water sports including scuba diving. The Lombardy shores offer scenic and interesting diving opportunities down sheer underwater cliffs that drop vertically into the water and offer thrilling views. There are many outfits that offer diving courses for sports enthusiasts at all levels.

The very diversified coast line of Lake Iseo offers a number of interesting diving opportunities for all skill levels. In its waters it's worthwhile getting to admire the Punta Corno cliffs with their large steps steeped in history or the old Pilzone Quarries, with smooth cliff faces that slope gently downwards, or the Roman Road, that from the Island of Saint Paul rises up to Monte Isola and the cliffs on Loreto Island.
