Livignese Park

Livignese Park is located in the centre of the Rhaetian Alps, between the parks of Stelvio and Bernina.

The area is of great environmental interest, for the natural beauty of its characteristic alpine landscape and rich wildlife, which includes, among mammals, large populations of ungulates, along with important species of migratory birds, such as the golden eagle and ptarmigan.

Given its geographical location, this area is an important territorial integration of the Alpine protected area, which includes the Stelvio National Park and the Swiss park of Engadine.
